Kantian Doctrine of Dignity and its Applicability in the Modern Society

Abstract

The paper reveals the problem of human dignity in the modern society. The author figures out Kant’s understanding of the human dignity and displays the necessity of Kantian version of the moral self-improvement in the 21st century. It is stated that since 200 years have passed Kant’s ideas of philosophy of history are of great value in the contemporary globalizing world.
