Abstract

The question is what such a classic ethics as Kant couldsay about the current science and technology, such as cyberbiology andcybercommunication. Initially we investigate the fact that Kantian ethicsis closely connected with his concept of science, perceived from Newtonwithin the Wolffian tradition, which brought the problem of determinism. One of the most significant achievements of Kant is a solution of thisproblem. Kant claimed the freedom of man and at the same time, therationality of ethics. The consequence is the understanding of man asa carrier of ethical and metaphysical dimension of reality. Also from thestandpoint of ethics there exists the “intelligible world” in which a personis considered as a reasonable entity equal to the other. Thus there isa possibility to ask questions and seek answers to important areas likecyberbiology and cybercommunication within the Kant’s reasoning.
